Members

The International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030 members range from national governments representing different parts of the world to intergovernmental organizations at global, regional or sub-regional levels;  international non-governmental organizations, global civil society organizations and global teacher/school leaders representative organizations; bilateral and multilateral international development agencies and global private sector organizations and foundations.

Each member of the Task Force appoints a focal point who can represent his or her country/organization and will take responsibility for the interactions between the Teacher Task Force and the country/organization.

Members of the Teacher Task Force meet once a year to review progress made and to discuss future direction.

New members may join the Task Force partnership upon acceptance in writing by decision of the Steering Committee. Countries and organizations can first submit their request to the Secretariat.

 

As of October 2019, the Teacher Task Force is composed of 143 members distributed as follows:

  • National Governments (all World regions), represented by designated officials: 91
  • Intergovernmental Organizations at global, regional or sub-regional levels and UN agencies: 22
  • International Non-Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Organizations and global teachers organizations: 21
  • Bilateral and multilateral international development agencies: 2
  • Global private sector organizations and foundations: 7
